GA Pilot Perceptions of Speech Systems to Transcribe and Submit PIREPs

Flying into hazardous weather can be a cause of aviation incidents and accidents. Accidents involving general (GA) pilots who are not instrument rated fly meteorological conditions (IMC) often fatal. Pilot reports (PIREPs) increase the accuracy timeliness current forecasted conditions. They an essential tool used by to avoid flying as well meteorologists develop update forecasts. The employed cross-section design included Likert scale questions.
